Read before your next round of Sevens

Keep the goal in view while choosing a move. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.

One thing to notice as you play

Take a moment to check the current turn. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. The game area remains available above the explanation.

Your objective

Check the rule below as you play. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.

The playing sequence

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

How to use the controls

Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Try this example

The board gives you the information needed for the next action. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

Watch out for this

Use the controls beside the game rather than guessing the rules. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. The game area remains available above the explanation.
